Welcome

I've been driving around Johannesburg quite a lot in the last few weeks, and I actually have started to get quite excited about this whole idea that we're going to have a real life train system working in SA.

You drive through Sandton and you see the stations starting to take shape. You have your morning route interuppted because the road has sunk because they're drilling a tunnel right under the road you're driving on.

It's just damn cool and exciting!

Until now its just been a bit of talk about trains - but suddenly the talk is becoming a reality and I think its pretty cool.

The idea behind this blog is to track the SA train system and bounce ideas around for suppliers and commuters to learn a bit more about the system and opportunities to make it a success!
